AJ is a self-proclaimed “money nerd and personal finance geek.” He holds degrees in both Business Management and International Business and is also a Husband, Father, former Director, and award-winning Actor. His acting credentials include a 2-year national tour with the critically-acclaimed Gospel stage play, What Men Don’t Tell. AJ also earned the prestigious Dallas Theater League’s Leon Rabin Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Purlie Victorious in Ossie Davis’ play of the same name. 

While acting and directing have fulfilled his passion for the arts, AJ’s also built a successful career as a Corporate Executive. He currently leads a team of 50+ direct-report employees, while overseeing payroll services and operations for 21 countries across the globe. 

AJ has always believed that business ownership and owning real estate are great ways to invest money and build generational wealth, which is something he instilled in his daughters from an early age. Leading by example, he has built a strong real estate portfolio, owning 8 rental real estate units. As a way to share his knowledge and give back to his community, he created his own YouTube Channel, AJ Golden - Personal Finance Made Easy (@ajg_pfme) dedicated to sharing valuable information about real estate, investing and personal finances. 

It is AJ’s goal to ensure that anyone, especially people of color, that desires to gain a financial education can have tools at their fingertips to help them succeed.
