Sound Bath with Sonya Spann
January 10, 2021
1-1:45pm PST/ 4-4:45pm EST
Wash away the stress and anxiety of 2020 with a restorative sound bath to promote somatic healing and restoration.
This virtual sound journey will include a combination of light breathwork, the voice and various instruments (koshi bells, crystal singing bowls, drums).
To Prepare:
Make sure you are hydrated before the session. Please prepare a quiet space where you will not be interrupted for the duration of the session. Laying on a yoga mat or firm bed are ideal, but if a comfortable armchair is available to you, that also works. Eye masks and blankets are also nice to have.
Sonya is a certified sound healing practitioner based in the NY tri-state area. She believes that with the right intention, the voice and instruments are tools that help people expand their awareness and activate the body's parasympathetic nervous system; facilitating deep levels of relaxation, clarity, stress management and meaningful rest practices which are critical to the healing process. Sonya's healing journey with sound began in 2016 first as a means to manage her own grief, de-stress and regulate sleep. In 2019, she felt called to share her practice with others and completed her certification with Healing Sound Arts.
